i will sing a hymn to love

I needed a gift quickly and on a tight budget. It started with a thought in the shower...where most of my great ideas originate. I immediately emailed Laura who said the bag was Natalie's, so I emailed Natalie, and she emailed me a version of this ------------------------------------>

It's a lingerie bag. Good for traveling, laundry, and storage.

I used a blown up stamp image from a lingerie invitation from many years ago for my applique pattern. This was the final product!

Then I used the same idea to make one for my sister-in-law for her birthday. This time I had the luxury of time, so I experimented with my embroidery stitch on my sewing machine (I still need practice). AND here is the final product!
While we're talking about my sister-in-law, go to her Etsy shop. She makes great baby gifts and a few other things, too!
