I've been finishing up big projects, which is such a relief. However, I don't think my stash of crafting goodies is getting much smaller. I thought I'd go ahead and put up two of the projects now instead of waiting until the end of the month.
Sunday night I finished a baby boy blanket. It's not for anyone in particular. It was to use up as much boy yarn as possible. I still have enough left to make this exact blanket. This is yarn (and same pattern) from
this blanket I made last year. I'll put the specs up on ravelry for all the curious knitters. You can't tell here, but I haven't woven the ends in yet (as with another completed blanket) because I like to feel like I made something especially for someone. When it's time to give these blankets away, I can weave in the loose ends to feel like I worked on the blanket for its recipient.

I also had another order for onesies. Another girl. Making little girl things is so much fun! The bird is my favorite. The cupcake is cute, too. I learned a lesson from the cupcake that I'll apply to the next one I make.

I hope both of the babies who receive these gifts know how much they are loved as they grow up.
