the giving of thanks

Summer is my favorite time of year!  But so is fall!  Summer because I can comfortably wear sundresses & flip flops and fall because of the pretty colors (and the continuation of warm weather in the south is a major plus).  November is the best fall month because my birthday week officially starts the holidays.  This year is a busy one!  Due to a bit of friend and family cramming gathering in the upcoming two weeks, shipping will be delayed until Friday, 2 December.  BUT I'm going to make it up to you by including a Christmas mug warmer/ cup cozy like the one below for each little.bag that you order. {By Christmas I mean red/green Christmas themed print and by like the one below I mean the same size and by each I mean every.}

I've been wanting to make cup cozies since last year.  Sewing them is much easier than knitting due to the over elasticity of yarn.  I am pleased with the way my mug warmer looks (used leftover fabric from my computer case and an antique button).  I often burn my fingers when I first pick up my freshly poured coffee or tea.  I don't have that problem any more.  My mug warmer also fits a standard cup of coffee purchased at your favorite coffee shop or retail store.  I plan to make many more in the future as little.gifts for friends. Sometimes I wish bed and a desire to get a full night's sleep didn't come at night so that I could drink a really large flavored coffee at this very moment.
